This trend has been ongoing for GMC all year as they’re on track to record their best overall sales year since 2007. GMC has their three most popular vehicles to thank as they led the way in October sales, which include; the GMC Sierra, GMC Acadia and also the GMC Terrain.
This past October was exceptional to the GMC Acadia and the GMC Terrain as both vehicles recorded their best Octobers to date. For the month of October, the GMC Terrain showed an increase of 14 percent, with the Acadia up nearly 20 percent over last year.
Leading the way for years has been the GMC Sierra, as it’s GMC’s best-selling vehicle. With full-size pickup truck figures up, the GMC Sierra celebrated their best a near double-digit sales increase versus the same time period last year.
Brian Sweeney, GMC’s VP of Sales & Service, discussed some of the factors that are leading to GMC’s growth and factors that led to a strong October, stating that, “GMC’s crossover lineup has never been stronger. Both Terrain and Acadia showcase the advanced technology and refinement our customers want as well as the bold designs and versatility they expect.”
